Directions for use
Add solvent to component 740 to achieve the required solids content, then add component 740B to the diluted component 740 mixture and stir well until the color is uniform. The ratio of the main agent/hardener can be adjusted according to the temperature and humidity, and the solvent moisture content. High Temperature can work for up to 40 minutes at 121°C.

Pot life
The ready-for-use adhesive in closed containers has a working time of about 6 hours. Unused adhesive on the laminator should not be left on for more than 2 hours, if more than 2 hours it should be discarded or it may result in an unstable laminating film. In tropical areas (temperature > 28°C & relative humidity > 60%), the mixed adhesive should be used up within 2 hours.
Recommended Operating Conditions
1. Coating: 740A/740B is suitable for dry film laminating machines with smooth roller or gravure roller. Before mass production, repeated trials should be carried out to determine the fitting roller.
2. Coating weight: Depending on the film or foil combination and the end use of the laminate, the adhesive weight should be above 2.0g/m2 (dry). The coating weight of 3.5 g is suitable for strong chemicals and high temperatures.
For printed laminates the weight has to be adjusted accordingly, The Recommended working solids content of 30%-35%, with the corresponding roller.
3. Pressure adjustment: An appropriate increase in laminating temperature and pressure can improve the bonding strength and surface finish of the laminates. The recommended temperature of the roller is 65-75℃.
4. Curing: Film/film, film/aluminum foil of general, poaching, boiling products at 40 ℃ -60 ℃ curing room 2-7 days after full curing can be slitting, bag making.
5. Film properties: The completely cured 740A/740B film is transparent and odorless.
FDA Compliance
740A/740B is suitable for laminating food packaging materials in accordance with US FDA 175.105 and Chinese GB- 9685. After sizing, the fully cured adhesive material complies with the EU 2002/72/EC and its Supplementary Agreement 2004/19/EC on the restriction of migration of certain substances.
Storage/Transport
Storage: 740A/740B are recommended to be stored in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight and high temperatures. When unopened it should be stored in the original closed container. The main agent 740A is valid for 12 months and the hardener 740B for 12 months. Open the storage container, after use it should be recovered and sealed, and the rest of the product should be used up within a short period of time.
Transport: Please refer to the relevant MSDS for details.

Notes
When using 740A/740B an efficient exhaust hood has to be installed to the coating unit due to safety reasons. The exhaust efficiency has to be checked prior to production by gas analysis for isocyanate concentration in the air. Safety regulations with regard to handling of isocyanates have to be followed as per the guidelines issued by the International Isocyanates
Institute. Please also refer to the local safety instructions as well as our safety data sheet and contact Huitian for analytical support.
As the adhesive contains polyisocyanates, any contact with the skin has to be removed.
Other information and Disclaimer
Film additives - especially in PE, CPP, and EVA copolymer films - slip agent content, type and thickness of the film, the filler, printing inks, pretreatment for printing, and film coating are all critical to the end use and can affect the bonding properties immediately or at a later stage. In order to obtain good lamination results, practical lamination trials and proper testing of the laminates are necessary before large-scale production.
