Huitian Thread Locking General Operation Instructions     1 Scope This guide applies to thread locking general operations in industrial manufacturing such as passenger cars, buses, commercial vehicles, and construction machinery. Applicable rubber types include Huitian 7242, 7243, 7262, 7271, 7272, and 7277.   2. Processing The overall process is: Cleaning - Gluing - Assembly - Curing 2.1 Use Huitian Cleaning Agent 7755 to clean the surface of bolts and nuts with heavy oil pollution (Huitian 7243 can be used without cleaning when used for oil-free or lightly oiled threads), remove the oil pollution and impurities in the screw holes and on the bolts, and dry them. 2.2.1 For through-hole working conditions: pass the bolt through the screw hole, select a thread locker with appropriate strength and apply it to the thread of the meshing part, assemble the nut, and tighten it to the specified torque, see Figure 1: 2.2.2 For through-hole working conditions where the screw hole depth is greater than the bolt length: select a locking glue of appropriate strength and apply it to the bolt thread, assemble and tighten to the specified torque, see Figure 2:   2.2.3 For blind hole conditions: drip the glue to the bottom of the blind hole, select the glue of appropriate strength and apply it to the thread of the bolt, assemble and tighten to the specified torque; if the blind hole opening is downward, just apply the locking glue to the thread of the bolt, and no glue is needed inside the blind hole, see Figure 3:     2.2.4 For stud bolts: drip Huitian 7262 into the screw hole, then apply Huitian 7262 on the bolt, assemble the stud and tighten it to the specified torque; after assembling other parts, apply Huitian 7243 to the meshing part of the stud and nut, assemble the nut and tighten it to the specified torque; if the blind hole opens downward, no glue is needed in the hole, see Figure 4:     2.2.6 After assembly, use a cotton swab or cotton cloth to wipe off excess glue. See Figure 5:     2.3 Notes: 2.3.1. Shake the glue bottle before applying glue to make the glue liquid uniform, and try to avoid contact between the glue nozzle and metal objects during use. 2.3.2. The glue should be applied to each thread engagement part for more than 3 to 5 turns, and the glue should fully fill the thread gap. 2.3.3. To improve on-site operation efficiency, you can pour the glue into a shallow plastic box, dip the bolts into it, and quickly apply the glue. However, after using up the glue in the plastic box, do not pour it back into the original packaging bottle. 2.3.4. Huitian 7755 cleaning agent contains organic solvents, so it is not recommended to be used to clean workpieces made of organic materials such as fiberglass, rubber, plastic, and aluminum coating.   3. What to do when it is difficult to disassemble after using glue In general, it can be disassembled with ordinary tools. When the strength of the selected locking glue is too high and it cannot be disassembled with ordinary methods (such as wrenches and screwdrivers), the local heating method can be used to heat the threaded engagement point locally, that is, locally heat the nut or screw to 232 ° C for 5 minutes and disassemble it while it is hot.   4.
